The STEM and AI Conference has already happened. SIC is now moving into the practical phase: one in-person bootcamp, team registration, problem discovery, mentorship, MVP building and pitch preparation.
SIC is for tertiary students and young builders who want to move an idea from rough thought to something testable. You do not need to be a coder. You do not need to be in a traditional STEM course. The strongest teams mix skills: research, media, design, technical ability, business thinking, community knowledge and project discipline.
Apps are welcome, but SIC is not an app-only challenge. We welcome devices, service models, community systems, campaigns, research-backed solutions, education tools, climate ideas, health ideas, agritech ideas and practical prototypes.
New teams pay the full team registration fee. If you attended the conference and already made some form of payment, still complete the form and choose the payment status that applies to you.
Come ready to build, meet potential teammates, sharpen your idea and understand the SIC path.
Attendance is in person. Complete teams should come together where possible. Individuals without teams can still come if they are serious about building and ready to meet people with complementary skills.
For teams that already have members and a problem area or idea. Submit team details, member roles, payment status and concept summary.
Register TeamFor anyone attending the 27 May in-person bootcamp, including individuals still looking for a team.
