Our Story

How We Came About

STEM Explorers Network (SEN) is an agency under the Youth Arise Organization. Youth Arise started as an organization to empower and build the capacities of young people.

In doing this, the founder of Youth Arise, Mr. Moses Baffour Awuah, saw the need for a specialized agency to focus solely on building the capacities of young people in the STEM field. That is when STEM Explorers Network was born.

The agency initially operated as a department under its mother organization until it was officially outdoored on the 16th of February, 2024, at the School of Public Health, University of Ghana.

What We Do

Bridging STEM and Everyday Life

SEN goes beyond the classroom by integrating STEM into real-world contexts. Our programs — including Robotics Bootcamps, STEM Conferences, Educational Outreaches, Novel Engineering workshops, and Hackathons — are designed to make STEM accessible, engaging, and impactful.

We actively engage in outreach activities to ensure that STEM education reaches diverse communities across Ghana, creating a ripple effect of innovation and opportunity.
